What is Rohypnal- the date rape drug?
Rohypnol is the trade name for flunitrazepam and is used in drug facilitated sexual assaults, known as date rape. Date Rape Drug Testing is widely used by law enforcement with the prosecution of the accused rapist, for the crime of drug facilitated sexual assault. The term date rape is commonly used, but can be misleading because the person who commits the crime might not be dating the victim.
What Does Rohypnol Look Like?
Rohypnol, the date rape drug, comes in pill form that dissolves in liquid. They can be small, round and white or more recently oval and green in color. When slipped into a drink, the green oval pills give clear liquids a bright blue color and make dark drinks turn cloudy. However, this may still be hard to see especially in a darkened club or bar.
What are the effects of a date rape drug?
All date rape drugs are very powerful and fast acting to the victim. The effects of Rohypnol are similar to being extremely intoxicated, including sleepiness, dizziness, problems seeing or standing, confusion and loss of consciousness. The main effect of a date rape drug like Rohypnol is the complete loss of memory after ingesting the drug, which is why date rape drugs are also known as 'knock-out' pills.
How Long Does it Take to Receive the Results?
